Bo is a young, neutered Cocker Spaniel mix. Bo’s original owner couldn’t care for him and gave him to another family member. That family member kept Bo for a couple of weeks before bringing him to Moore Humane for help.
Severely emaciated and covered with fleas, Bo could barely manage to walk through our front doors. His coat was covered with feces and matted so badly that it appeared painful for him to walk. In desperate need of medical attention, Bo was immediately taken to our veterinarian who determined that he had a severe hookworm infestation as well as eye and ear infections. His coat was so tangled and matted; that it had to be shaved down to his skin. Once he completed treatment to rid him of the deadly hookworms, Bo steadily began gaining weight and looking better everyday.
To see him now, you would never guess how close he had come to dying. Bo has such a fun-loving spirit, and is full of life. Stop by the shelter and see how quickly his new found love of life will warm your heart and touch your soul!
