Banshee is a DSH Black cat. He is approximately 5 yrs old and is a neutered male. Banshee came to Moore Humane Society in May of 2002. He was found as a feral kitten by one of our board members at the age of about 8 wks old.  He and 3 other siblings were taken in and were vaccinated and neutered. Two of his siblings were adopted, leaving Banshee and his brother, Clover, still looking for their forever loving homes. 

Banshee is a very sweet and docile cat. He is a hefty boy who loves to be petted and scratched behind his ears. Banshee is a little shy at first, but warms up to people fairly quickly. He would do best in a quiet home with a family who is willing to give him the time he needs to adjust and feel safe and secure in his new home.

Older cats make wonderful companions yet they tend to be overlooked in a shelter environment. Some may think that because they are older cats, they may not have as many years to enjoy with their new found friend. However, many cats have been known to live up to 15 or more years. If you have the patience, time and love in your heart to devote to a cat that has been overlooked for too long, Banshee may be just the cat for you! Just open up your heart and let Banshee show you the love he has been waiting so long to give!
