As part of HSUS's Emergency Placement Program, Moore Humane
Saturday, one of our Board Members drove to Virginia to pick up Cherry,
a tan and white Pit Bull. Other than a cherry eye (which no doubt
inspired her name), she is in good health and sweet as she can be.

Prior to making her journey to NC, Cherry received her vaccinations and
was tested for heartworm. Eager to help her make a full recovery, we
brought her to Animal Health Center where her eye was repaired and
she was spayed.
