Wanna play?” That pretty much sums up everything thing you need or want to know about Marley. He’ s a classic chocolate Lab – friendly, adorable, funny, lovable, and full of energy! Many Labs behave like puppies until they are 2 or 3 years old, and Marley is no exception. He is fully grown physically but still thinks (and acts) like a puppy. Marley was surrendered by his owner, and we don’t think he got a lot of training early on. The staff and volunteers are working to teach him good doggie manners, and he is eager to please when there are treats around! Because of Marley’s high energy level and limited training, we think he’d do best in an active family without small children. Previous dog experience would also be a plus, since Marley will need some guidance as he matures. Labs are the most popular dogs in the US, and Marley is a great example of the breed.
