Mango is a sable colored, shorthair, male kitten that was approximately four months old when he was brought to Moore Humane Society in April. When Mango arrived at our shelter he had a badly injured and infected right rear leg. The vet that examined Mango believed his leg had been caught in an animal leg trap. The trap fractured Mango’s tibia/fibula as well as the adjoining hock. Mango’s injury had gone too long without property medical attention and the coinciding infection had progressed into his bone. 
Unfortunately, after several weeks of treatment, Mango’s leg was unable to be saved and had to be amputated. Mango is a shy, but very sweet cat who enjoys the loving attention of people. Now all Mango needs is a little TLC and a loving home to call his own.
